iOS and GooglePlay Android apps making the Playmob purchase API call straight from their mobile app should use our purchase verification feature for enhanced security. By passing us your transaction receipt data from your purchase process, Playmob contact the corresponding store in question and verify that a purchase did, in fact, successfully take place. Any purchase that cannot be verified will not count towards the money raised by a title.
In order to set up your title for receipt verification, we require a few settings. Simply send the following details, along with your title’s name to firstname.lastname@example.org:
- For Android titles Google Play: The ‘base 64 encoded, public developer signing key, your app’s package name.
- For Amazon App Store, your shared secret key.
- For iOS titles we just need your app’s bundle name.
Both the bundle/package names use the hierarchical Java package naming convention like ‘com.company.appname’.
Note that Facebook purchases cannot be verified in this way.
